Rome

Maybe my favorite thing in the world is lying in bed thinking half-dreams, mulling over my life with a spine of fantasy and revelation.  So many things occur to me and appear as I switch from position to position ostensibly burrowing for sleep, but in actuality happy, so happy, where I am.  I don’t want to get out of bed.  If this is depression  give me more.

Sometimes the cat comes.

There’s usually a take away.  Today: these thoughts above as well as a giant squirel flying using ripped off TV antennas as helicopter blades in its hands, its bottom feet mincing as it gently lilts down.  Galen is there and is nonplussed while I am amazed at how I’ve never heard of this as an example of animals using tools.

This, this whole thing, is what travel has taught me.
